Farria Law Group gave a presentation on "How to Survive an Encounter with Law Enforcement".
Workers United is the current name of the former UNITE union (which was the result of the merger between the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Union and the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. We worked with UNITE from 2002-2009. Garrick's last post was serving as the SWRJB Political Director. During Hurricane Katrina, Garrick served as the Louisiana Manager.
Today, this organization represents women and men in who work in industrial laundries, factories, distribution centers, and some allied health professions. They come from Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
